Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım met with congress members and fans in Kırklareli as part of his election campaign. Speaking about his choice of technical director, Yıldırım made striking statements about Aykut Kocaman.
AZIZ YILDIRIM'S MESSAGE ON THE TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Aziz Yıldırım, who continues his work ahead of the upcoming presidential election at Fenerbahçe, answered questions from the yellow-navy community at a gathering in Kırklareli. Responding to questions about the technical director, Yıldırım said he does not make his decisions based on social media comments.
"IF YOUR MIND IS LIMITED, YOU'LL BE INFLUENCED BY SOCIAL MEDIA"
Stating that social media comments do not influence his decisions, Yıldırım said, "I don't read social media. Because my mind is greater than theirs. But if your mind is limited, you'll be influenced by it."
AYKUT KOCAMAN'S WORDS BECOME A TOPIC
Addressing comments that the election could be lost if it is announced that Aykut Kocaman will be appointed as technical director, Yıldırım expressed that he disagrees with this view.
Yıldırım said, "Whether Aykut Kocaman comes or not is a separate matter; I say the same for the players. These are our values. It's easy to dismiss these values. They say, 'If we announce Coach Aykut, we'll lose the election.' If we lose, we lose; it's not important at all."

Drawing attention to Aykut Kocaman's career, Aziz Yıldırım stated that the experienced coach's achievements should not be overlooked.
Reminding that Kocaman won the championship with Fenerbahçe and the Turkish Cup with Konyaspor, Yıldırım said, "When evaluating Coach Aykut, we will look at what aspects are positive and what aspects are negative. He became champion with Fenerbahçe and won the Turkish Cup with Konya. You forget what he has done. Jose Mourinho came, so what?"
