A waiter robot named 'Gayretli,' which had been serving at a restaurant in Amasya for 8 months, deviated from its designated route and fell down the stairs. After undergoing maintenance and returning to work, restaurant official İbrahim Nuri Bağçuvan said about the robot, 'We think it experienced seasonal intensity and work stress. We gave the robot 3 days off.'
A robot named "Gayretli," which has been serving customers at a restaurant in the city center of Amasya for about 8 months, experienced an incident that left the staff astonished.
While executing the commands assigned to serve tables, the robot suddenly deviated from its designated route. Moving right and left, Gayretli then headed toward the restaurant's exit stairs and fell down the steps.
The restaurant staff watched the robot's unexpected movements and its fall down the stairs in amazement.
"THE ROBOT THREW ITSELF DOWN"
Restaurant official İbrahim Nuri Bağçuvan said they were quite satisfied with Gayretli, but they encountered an unexpected problem recently.
Noting that the robot deviated from its job description, Bağçuvan said, "We are very pleased with it. However, we had a small problem the other day. It went beyond its job description. The robot threw itself down. It ran away. We didn't understand what happened either."

Bağçuvan, evaluating the incident with a humorous tone, drew attention to the restaurant's busyness and said the robot might have been affected by it.
Bağçuvan stated, "We think it experienced seasonal busyness and work stress. We gave the robot 3 days off."
IT UNDERWENT MAINTENANCE AND RETURNED TO WORK
After the incident, restaurant officials contacted the robot's manufacturer. Gayretli underwent maintenance, and after the checks were completed, it returned to the restaurant and continued serving.
Bağçuvan also stated that the footage of the robot falling down the stairs received more attention than they expected.
"LET ROBOT RIGHTS BE INTRODUCED"
Bağçuvan also touched upon the humorous comments made after the footage, saying, "We also saw comments like 'Let robot rights be introduced. Don't make it work this much. Give it time off. Give the robot a raise.'"
