Images of soldiers returning to the trenches on crutches have caused a significant stir in many European countries, especially in the UK.

According to a report from the UK Ministry of Defence's intelligence, it is stated that an assault unit composed entirely of wounded and disabled soldiers has been established in the 20th Mechanized Armed Forces Corps.

British intelligence states that the reason for this practice is to "ease the burden on the overloaded Russian military health system." At the same time, it is expressed that allowing wounded soldiers to be included in active duties enables the support of existing units.
