A crisis has emerged at Real Madrid as negotiations continue between Brazilian footballer Vinicius Junior and the management over a new contract. It was reported that Vinicius Junior demanded the same salary as Mbappe, and the management rejected the Brazilian player's wage demand by calling his bluff.
As the Spanish giant Real Madrid experiences busy days in internal transfers, contract renewal negotiations with Brazilian footballer Vinicius Junior have hit a deadlock. The annual salary requested by the Brazilian star from the club has caused a major crisis with the management.
MBAPPE DETAIL AND SALARY BALANCE
According to a report in AS; Vinicius Junior, who currently earns a net annual salary of 15 million Euros from the white-and-purple team, believes that the salary balance was disrupted with the arrival of Kylian Mbappe. The Samba star, who wants to be the highest earner on the team or at least share this status, has requested from the management the same salary as Mbappe, approximately 23-30 million Euros annually, to renew his contract.
MANAGEMENT'S FIRM STANCE
It was reported that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez made a quite generous offer to the player of around 20 million Euros annually, but Vinicius rejected this offer by refusing to earn less than Mbappe. The player's rigid stance and comparison to Mbappe have caused serious discomfort within the Real Madrid management.
