President Erdoğan announced after the Cabinet meeting that the process for the appointment of a total of 25,000 new teachers, including 10,000 for the National Education Academy, has been initiated. Here are all the details about the appointments: "As it is known, after the Presidential Cabinet Meeting held on April 15, 2025, our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that 'a total of 25,000 positions have been allocated for teacher appointments to our Ministry, including 10,000 to the National Education Academy.'
"THREE TIMES THE QUOTA OF CANDIDATES WILL BE INVITED TO THE ORAL EXAM"
In this context, based on the 2024 KPSS score, preliminary applications will be received for our 15,000 teacher candidates to be employed, and three times the number of candidates for the field quotas will be invited to the oral exam according to the score ranking. Later, teacher appointments will be made based on the ranking score, which will be formed by taking 50% of the KPSS and oral exam scores.
APPLICATIONS WILL BE BETWEEN APRIL 21 - MAY 5
In this regard, the announcement regarding the distribution of quotas by fields and other details related to the application for the recruitment of 15,000 contracted teachers in 2025 will be published on April 18, 2025, and applications will be accepted between April 21 - May 5, 2025. As a result of the process, candidates who are entitled to participate in the oral exam will be announced on May 7, 2025, at www.meb.gov.tr.
The details of the schedule for the 10,000 appointments designated for the National Education Academy will be shared with the public after the announcement of the results of the Academy Entrance Exam.
