The statement of Enis S, who killed his ex-wife Nuran Şimşek by shooting her in the head with a gun in a taxi under the pretext of having a conversation, has emerged. It was learned that on the day of the incident, Enis S said that his ex-wife showed him a photo on her phone in the taxi, which caused him to have a nervous breakdown, and that he does not remember what happened and that he might have done it.

According to allegations, a man named Enis S. (45) picked up his ex-wife Nuran Şimşek (43) from her home in Mehmet Akif Ersoy Mahallesi under the pretext of talking.
HE SHOT HER FROM BEHIND
Enis S. then told the taxi driver Ali Y. to drive towards Beykoz. While the taxi was moving, a dispute broke out between Enis S. and Şimşek. Nuran Şimşek, who opened the door of the taxi that had stopped in traffic, tried to get out of the vehicle. Enis S., who drew his gun, shot Şimşek from behind. Enis S. then pointed his gun at the taxi driver Ali Y., who reacted to him.
SHE WAS SHOT IN THE JAW WHILE LYING ON THE GROUND
The woman, shot in the head by her ex-husband Enis S., died at the scene. It was learned that Enis S. fired two more shots from under Şimşek's chin and then fled on foot towards Hasdal. The suspect was later apprehended by the police of the Kağıthane Patrol Teams with the gun he used in the incident. Nuran Şimşek's lifeless body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue after the work of the public prosecutor and the crime scene investigation teams.
It was learned that Enis S. and Şimşek were in their second marriage, and both had one child from their first marriages. The police launched an investigation into the incident.
"DID IT HAVE TO END IN DEATH?"
Nuran Şimşek's neighbor Selver Korkmaz, who spoke about the incident, said, "This is her second marriage. She lives with her mother. Her daughter is from her first marriage. On the fourth floor. She is a good person, she has no such thing. They said he killed her, we couldn't believe it. We were shocked. It's a sad event. I mean, can this happen at such a young age, is it worth it? We are saddened. Did it have to end in death?"
MURDER SUSPECT EX-HUSBAND ARRESTED
The murder suspect Enis S., who was taken into custody, was subjected to judicial proceedings, and his statement was taken. Enis S., who was referred to the courthouse, was arrested by the court for the crime of 'intentional murder' and sent to prison.

In his statement, Enis S. said that he married Nuran Şimşek in 2017 and that they separated in 2018 due to a dispute between Şimşek and his own daughter.
Enis S. stated that they occasionally met after their divorce, and 25 days before the incident, Şimşek called him, asked how he was, and they started seeing each other again. Enis S. said that they became closer during this time and that 2-3 days before the incident, he sent a message to Şimşek via a messaging application, but Nuran Şimşek did not respond to his messages despite seeing them, and he thought she had someone else in her life. He stated that this led him to a jealousy crisis and that after she continued to ignore his messages, he called Nuran Şimşek one day before the incident, they argued, and Şimşek confronted him by saying, 'Are you questioning me?'
HE HUGGED HER SAYING "I LOVE YOU"
Continuing his statement, Enis S. said that on the day of the incident, he started waiting in front of Nuran Şimşek's house, knowing the time she left for work. It was learned that when Şimşek came out of the building, Enis S. hugged her and said, 'I love you, why are you doing this to me, you are not responding.' Nuran Şimşek reportedly replied, 'The neighbors see, it's inappropriate,' and then it was learned that Şimşek and Enis S. got into a taxi that came in front of the building.
"I DON'T REMEMBER, I MIGHT HAVE DONE IT"
It was learned that while they were in the taxi, Nuran Şimşek showed a photo from her mobile phone to Enis S., which caused him to have a nervous breakdown and pull out the gun he had brought with him, and the taxi driver tried to protect Nuran Şimşek upon seeing this. After Enis S. told the taxi driver to 'drive to Beykoz,' Şimşek told the taxi driver, 'No, pull over to the right,' and wanted to get out of the vehicle. Enis S. stated that a dispute broke out between him and the taxi driver, and he could not remember what happened from that moment on, and he said he might have committed the act.
