Whatever we do for our youth is not enough; when we take one step towards our youth, they come to us with a hundred steps and achieve a hundred steps of success. Therefore, we will continue to provide the strongest support to our youth and athletes. Until now, I would like to thank all the previous mayors, sports club presidents, managers, administrators, coaches, and everyone who contributed to the formation of a sports culture in Selçuklu, to the trust of our families in us, and to the intense interest of our young athletes in sports. Because this success is not a coincidence. This success is the result of great effort, diligence, and sacrifice. We have awarded dozens of athletes you see here, and among them are our Olympic silver medalist, World champion, European champion, World silver medalist, bronze medalists, Balkan champions, and Turkish champions. Our youth earn these awards rightfully. Hopefully, our next goal is the Olympics. With our new athlete center, we want to prepare our athletes for the Olympics with a plan and program that will guide them in a much more qualified way, especially according to their interests, talents, and abilities. In this regard, we have a great support from our Ministry of Youth and Sports. Thanks to the cooperation we have with them, we will prepare our youth from the ground up in our athlete center and train them for the Olympic preparation centers of our Ministry of Youth and Sports. From there, we will hopefully raise Olympic athletes and champions who will proudly represent Turkey, our country, our city, and our district,” he said.
