The statement given by 17-year-old actress Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi to the prosecutor's office, following the criminal complaint filed by her father Ünal Çiftçi, has emerged. The young actress stated that her family is in the process of divorce and denied the allegations against her.
17-year-old Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi, who continues her acting career that she started at a young age, came to the agenda with a complaint filed by her father, Ünal Çiftçi. Father Çiftçi filed a criminal complaint, claiming that his daughter took part in projects without his consent despite being a minor and that she had a romantic relationship with a 27-year-old actor.
Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi, who gave a statement to the prosecutor's office, rejected her father's claims. The young actress stated that she has been acting for about 12 years and that her projects were carried out with the approval of her mother and father.
Çiftçi said, “I have been acting for 12 years. The production company does not proceed without the consent of my mother and father in the projects I take part in. I have their consent to work, and there is a document regarding this. Since my mother (Kader Çiftçi) and father are in the process of divorce, my father made this complaint. I am not subjected to any mistreatment or mobbing at work.”
“I HAVE NO ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP”
The young actress also denied her father's claim about her relationship. Stating that she has not portrayed any character with obscene content in the productions she starred in, Çiftçi expressed that she continues her acting work of her own free will.
Regarding the person in question, Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi used the following statements: “I have no role involving obscenity in the projects I have played in. I work entirely with my own consent and will. I do not have a romantic relationship as my father claims. The person he mentioned is Hakan Çelebi, and he is my close friend. In fact, my father also knows him.”
Çiftçi also stated that she believes the divorce process within the family had an impact behind her father's complaint. The young actress noted that Hakan Çelebi's recommendation of his lawyer friends to her mother might have caused her father's reaction.
DECISION FROM THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE ON TWO FILES
According to the news from Sabah, following the reports made, the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office made an evaluation within the scope of two files.
The prosecutor's office concluded that, upon examining the statements and evidence within the scope of the file, there was insufficient evidence to file a prosecution. It was also stated that the claim that a minor was employed without family permission or consent was related to labor law and should be evaluated within the scope of private law provisions.
The Chief Prosecutor's Office assessed that there was no crime or element of crime in the current file that would require follow-up within the scope of a criminal investigation.
COMPLAINT ALSO FROM THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY
Following the complaint made by Father Ünal Çiftçi, Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi's management company also took action. The company filed a complaint against Ünal Çiftçi on charges of “defamation.”
In the petition of complaint, it was claimed that Ünal Çiftçi made false statements that his minor daughter was acting without his permission. It was argued that these claims damaged the company's commercial reputation and constituted defamation, and it was requested that an investigation be launched on the matter.
Thus, in the legal process that began between Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi and her father, the statements made by the young actress in her testimony at the prosecutor's office were also reflected in the file.
