Following the incident, the suspect, İsmail A., who fled, was caught in an abandoned building. When questioned by journalists, İsmail A., who was taken into custody, responded, 'He slandered me, he made my honor and dignity worthless.'
The suspect who killed municipal employee Celil Yazıcı with a rifle in the Karakeçili district of Kırıkkale was caught in the abandoned building where he was hiding. The detained suspect claimed he committed the murder due to an "allegation of slander."
ARGUMENT TURNED INTO A FIGHT
The incident occurred the previous night at the Karakeçili Municipality Garage. An argument between garage guard Celil Yazıcı and İsmail A. quickly turned into a fight. According to claims, İsmail A. shot Yazıcı with a rifle he brought with him and fled the scene.
LOST HIS LIFE AT THE HOSPITAL
Celil Yazıcı, who was seriously injured, lost his life at Karakeçili State Hospital where he was taken after the initial intervention by health teams. Yazıcı's funeral was buried today.
CAUGHT IN AN ABANDONED BUILDING
The suspect who fled after the murder was caught in an operation at an abandoned building near his home as a result of work carried out by the Kırıkkale Provincial Police Department Public Order Branch Homicide Bureau teams. During a search of the suspect's home, 2 rifles and an air pistol were seized.
"HE SLANDERED ME" DEFENSE
İsmail A., who was detained and taken to the police station, answered journalists' questions by saying, "He slandered me, he ruined my honor and dignity." The suspect also said he planned the murder alone.
