The investigation into the death of 20-year-old Ayyüce Dilşat Çalışkan, who fell from the window of the top floor of a 7-story apartment building in Kayseri, has resulted in a decision of non-prosecution. It was concluded that Çalışkan committed suicide, but it was ruled that there was insufficient evidence for prosecution. The incident occurred on July 30 of last year in the Gülük neighborhood of the Melikgazi district. Ayyüce Dilşat Çalışkan, who lived alone on the top floor of the 7-story building and had recently come from İzmir, fell from the window of her living room in the morning hours. Çalışkan fell into a workplace's storage area due to the breaking of the grate on the ground. Around 3:00 PM, passersby saw Çalışkan lying motionless when they looked down the grate and reported it to the police and medical teams. The medical teams that arrived determined that Çalışkan had passed away. Ayyüce Dilşat Çalışkan was removed from the location by the fire department. After the autopsy procedures, Çalışkan was buried in Bursa. It was noted that Ayyüce Dilşat Çalışkan, who was identified as having performed on stage and sung in entertainment venues, had come to Kayseri from İzmir to work and had started staying in the building where she fell 20 days prior. It was also observed that Çalışkan shared songs she had sung on her social media account. DECIDED THAT SHE ENTERED A DEPRESSIONFollowing Çalışkan's death, the Kayseri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office completed its investigation regarding the crime of 'encouraging someone to commit suicide' against the possibility of death resulting from a crime or criminal element and issued a decision of non-prosecution. The prosecutor's office emphasized that according to Çalışkan's autopsy report, it was determined that she died from multiple rib and bone fractures due to falling from a height, brain hemorrhage, brain tissue destruction, and internal and external bleeding. It was also mentioned that Çalışkan committed suicide as a result of the depression she entered, stating, "It has been concluded that the individual mentioned committed suicide by jumping out of the window of the room she was in due to the depression she was experiencing." The prosecutor's office also decided that there was insufficient evidence to suggest that anyone had an influence on Çalışkan's suicide.
