Ahead of the Gençlerbirliği - Galatasaray match to be played in the 35th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, tickets went on sale, and the set prices drew reactions from fans. The price for tickets offered to Gençlerbirliği fans was set at a minimum of 4 thousand and a maximum of 10 thousand liras. For the away stand where Galatasaray fans will follow the match, tickets were put on sale for 5 thousand 200 liras.

As the Trendyol Süper Lig enters one of the most critical turns of the season, the ticket prices for the Gençlerbirliği-Galatasaray match to be played in Ankara have been announced. 

TICKET PRICES SPARKED REACTION

As the countdown begins ahead of the major encounter to be played at Eryaman Stadium in the 30th week of the Süper Lig, the ticket tariff announced by the Gençlerbirliği management left football fans astonished. The tickets for the match, which closely concerns both the championship race and the lower ranks of the league, became the most talked-about topic on social media due to their unusual prices. The cheapest ticket being set at 4,000 TL sparked major backlash among the fans of both teams.

The Gençlerbirliği management set the ticket prices for the home stands according to their categories as follows:

  • VIP A-B Block: 10,000 TL
  • Closed Right/Left: 8,000 TL
  • East Marathon: 7,000 TL
  • South Behind the Goal: 4,000 TL

AWAY STAND TICKETS ARE 5,200 LIRA

The tickets for the away stand (North Behind the Goal), where Galatasaray fans will support their team, were announced as 5,200 lira. The yellow-red fans argued that this price is unacceptable for an away match.

PRESIDENT ARDA ÇAKMAK HAD ANNOUNCED

In a previous statement on the matter, Gençlerbirliği President Arda Çakmak had said, "Our ticket prices, away fan quota, and bonus system for the Galatasaray match will be the same as they were for the Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, and Trabzonspor matches."
