The sales process of İstikbal Furniture has been completed. Paşalı Group, which submitted the highest bid in the tender held by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF), acquired the company for 16.5 billion TL. The company's value, initially set at 12.5 billion TL in the first tender, increased by approximately 4 billion TL in the second tender. Paşalı Group, which operates in the fields of construction, automotive, vehicle rental, and tourism, is expected to achieve a strong position in the furniture sector with this acquisition.
Pasali Group has become the new owner of Istikbal Furniture, which was put up for sale by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund. The company was sold for 16 billion 500 million Turkish Liras in the auction held.
Three companies participated in the auction organized at the TMSF Headquarters. As a result of the evaluation, Pasali Group, which made the highest bid, won the right to purchase Istikbal Furniture.
THE COMPANY'S VALUE INCREASED BY 4 BILLION TL
The increase in the company's value during the sale process of Istikbal Furniture drew attention. In the first auction, the estimated price for the company was set at 12 billion 500 million TL, but the auction was canceled due to insufficient participation.
In the most recent auction, the company's value increased by approximately 4 billion TL to 16 billion 500 million TL. Experts evaluated this increase as a resurgence of investor interest in the furniture sector.
A NEW ERA FOR PASALI GROUP
Pasali Group, which started operations in the construction sector in 1978, later made investments in the automotive, vehicle rental, and tourism sectors. The group, which moved its headquarters to Istanbul in 1991, continued its growth under the management of Adem Pasali.
With the acquisition of Istikbal Furniture, Pasali Group is expected to become a strong player in the furniture and retail sectors as well.
