The Toplusoy family, one of the well-known families in high society, was once again shaken by a great sorrow with the passing of 10-year-old Selin Toplusoy. Selin, the daughter of the late Süleyman Toplusoy, a former partner of Toplusoy Holding, which includes Roman Tekstil, and İpek Toplusoy, lost her life due to a long battle with cancer. LOST THE BATTLE FOR LIFE
It was learned that Selin Toplusoy, the daughter of the late businessperson Süleyman Toplusoy and İpek Toplusoy, had been receiving cancer treatment for some time. Despite her young age, Selin, who succumbed to the difficult struggle she fought, left her family and close circle in mourning.
TEARS FLOWED LIKE A RIVER AT THE FUNERAL
A funeral ceremony was held today for Selin Toplusoy, the niece of Turgut Toplusoy and sister of Zeynep and Serra Toplusoy, at Marmara University Faculty of Theology Mosque. Family members and friends were present at the funeral prayer performed after the noon prayer.
GRIEF-STRICKEN MOTHER FAINTED AT THE COFFIN
During the ceremony, the most painful moments were experienced with mother İpek Toplusoy's farewell. The grieving mother, hugging her daughter's coffin and shedding tears, could not bear the immense pain she felt, became unwell, and fainted.
The state of Toplusoy, who was tried to be calmed by her relatives, deeply affected those attending the ceremony.
BURIED IN THE FAMILY CEMETERY
Selin Toplusoy's funeral was buried in the family cemetery at Çekmeköy Cemetery. The Toplusoy family had previously experienced great pain in 2020 when they lost Süleyman Toplusoy due to a heart attack.
