PLACED HAIR IN FOOD AND BLAMED THE WAITER

The incident occurred at a buffet serving in Beyoğlu Taksim. According to reports, the tourist dining in the restaurant called the waiter after the bill arrived and claimed to have found hair in their plate. Staff reviewing the security footage noticed that the hair had been placed in the food afterward.

The moments when the tourist placed hair in their food were captured on the security camera. The footage shows the tourist putting hair in their food to avoid paying the bill. Additionally, the moments when they took the dish with hair to show the restaurant owner were also recorded by the security camera.

"AN 800 LIRA BILL HAD COME"

Hayri Taş, a staff member of the buffet, stated regarding the incident, "The event occurred late at night. After the tourist customers came to the buffet, they placed their food orders. Then, as they were finishing their meals, the tourists came to me and said there was hair in their food. They did this to avoid paying the bill. We later checked the security camera and saw that the tourist had pulled their hair and placed it in the food. The tourist's intention was to create a scene by putting hair on the food to avoid paying the bill. The bill was around 700-800 lira. They resorted to such a method to avoid paying it."
