Israeli soldiers killed a Turkish activist.

Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, a 26-year-old Turkish activist, was shot in the head by Israeli soldiers with live ammunition in the occupied West Bank and lost her life. It was learned that Eygi was shot while participating in a weekly anti-settlement march in the town of Beita near Nablus.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli forces attacked the anti-occupation demonstration in the town of Beyta, located in the Nablus district of the West Bank, with live ammunition.

According to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa, Eygi, who also holds US citizenship, was shot in the head and taken to the hospital.

Fuad Nafia, the director of Rafidiye State Hospital in Nablus, said in an interview with AA that despite all interventions, they were unable to save Eygi, who was brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head.

WHO IS EZGI EYGI?

Ezgi Eygi, born in Antalya in 1998, was volunteering in the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) as part of a campaign to protect Palestinian farmers. Eygi became the third ISM volunteer killed by Israeli forces in Palestine. Rachel Corrie was killed by the Israeli army in Gaza in 2003, and Tom Hurndall was killed in Gaza in 2004.
