It has been claimed that B-2 stealth bombers belonging to the U.S. Air Force took off to go to Guam Island and will then be moved to Diego Garcia Island. The aircraft are said to be preparing for a possible bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities.
While the debate continues on whether the US will intervene in Iran; the takeoff of the US B-2 stealth bombers heading to the Pacific islands has sparked discussions.
As the conflicts that began with Israel's attacks on Iran continue into their 9th day, the question of whether these conflicts will escalate with the intervention of other countries remains under discussion.
STEALTH BOMBERS HAVE TAKEN OFF
Amid concerns that the US will become involved in the conflicts, a critical move has come from the US. It has been reported that the US B-2 stealth bombers have taken off to go to Guam Island and will later be moved to Diego Garcia Island in the Indian Ocean.
Reports in the US media claim that B-2 aircraft belonging to the US Air Force's stealth bomber fleet are en route to the US base on Guam Island in the Pacific Ocean and will later be transferred to Diego Garcia Island.
6 BOMBER AIRCRAFT HAVE BEEN DEPLOYED
According to flight tracking data and voice communications with air traffic control, it was noted that 6 B-2 stealth bombers taking off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri are on their way to the US Air Force base in Guam.
In a report by Fox News, it was stated that "After taking off from Missouri, the bombers refueled, which means they were launched without fully loaded fuel tanks due to carrying heavy loads; it is thought that these loads could be bunker-busting bombs."
THE AIRCRAFT ARE CARRYING BUNKER-BUSTING BOMBS
The report, which included expert opinions, claimed that the B-2 can carry 2 bunker bombs weighing 15 tons, which are critical for targeting Fordo, Iran's heavily fortified nuclear site.
While it is assessed that the next stop for the B-2s will be Diego Garcia Island in the Pacific Ocean, the Pentagon has not yet responded to questions from AA in this regard.
ATTACKS ON HOUTHIS WERE LAUNCHED FROM THAT ISLAND
It is known that the US previously conducted operations against Iranian-backed Houthi targets in Yemen from the same island, and it is anticipated that the same base could be used for a bombing against Iran's nuclear facilities.
As Israel launched an attack on Iran in the early hours of June 13 and Iran responded, a tense process is ongoing in the Middle East, with discussions in the country’s media about whether the US will become involved in this war.
CONFLICTS CONTINUE
Meanwhile, the conflicts between the two countries continued into their 9th day. According to reports in Iranian media, Israel simultaneously attacked barracks and headquarters belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in the city of Ahvaz, located in the southwestern province of Khuzestan, and at the Mahshahr Port. Following the attack, it was observed that air defense systems were activated and thick smoke was rising.
Ahvaz, located near the Iraqi border, is the capital of Khuzestan province, which is Iran's main oil-producing region.
Iran's attacks also continued throughout the day. Israeli media reported that a building in the city of Beit She'an in northern Israel was hit by a drone attack. While there were no casualties or injuries in the attack, it was noted that an Iranian Shahed-136 drone managed to bypass Israel's Iron Dome air defense system for the first time.
WHAT HAPPENED?
In the attacks launched by Israel on June 13 against Iran, high-ranking Iranian figures were targeted. Iran also responded with counterattacks to Israel's assaults.
While Israel specifically targeted Tehran, the capital of Iran, and locations where nuclear facilities are located, Iran also carried out attacks on critical cities such as Tel Aviv and Haifa.
The toll of the mutual conflicts is increasing day by day.
