The UEFA delegation will conduct a rehearsal for the Europa League final, which will take place at Beşiktaş Park on May 20, 2026, during the Beşiktaş - Fenerbahçe derby. In a security meeting held in Istanbul, security measures regarding the teams' hotels and travel, the stadium, fan gathering areas, and transportation were discussed. The delegation will also observe the derby from the stands.

UEFA, TFF AND BEŞIKTAŞ CLUB OFFICIALS MET

Once again, a security meeting was held in Istanbul as part of the 2026 UEFA Europa League final. In preparation for the match to be played at Beşiktaş Park, security measures regarding the teams' hotels and travel, stadium, fan gathering, and transportation areas were discussed between UEFA representatives, the Turkish Football Federation, and Beşiktaş Club officials.

The meeting was attended by UEFA 2026 Europa League Final Project Leader Yoann Gallet, UEFA Security and Stadium Safety Unit Head Stephen Funham, UEFA Operations Officer Drew Innes, TFF Director of External Relations and National Teams Buğra İmamoğulları, and security and Beşiktaş Club stadium officials.
