The driver of a forklift that collided with a truck in Bornova district of Izmir, Gül Keskin (38), lost her life. The accident was captured on the security camera of a workplace. The truck driver was released under judicial control.
An accident occurred in the garden of a tobacco company in the Kemalpaşa district of İzmir two days ago at around 15.00. A truck with license plate 35 BIB 943, driven by M.C.A., collided with a forklift driven by Gül Keskin. Keskin, the forklift driver, was injured after being dragged under the truck.
NUMEROUS TEAMS DISPATCHED TO THE SCENE
Upon notification, health, police, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. Keskin, who was extracted from where she was trapped by the teams, was taken to Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital after initial intervention. Despite all efforts by doctors, Gül Keskin could not be saved. Keskin's body was taken to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy.
TRUCK DRIVER RELEASED
The truck driver, M.C.A., who was taken into custody after the incident, was released by the court under judicial control after his procedures at the police station and subsequent referral to the courthouse.
