The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the incident, and the statements of the parties have emerged within the scope of the investigation.
CHP Party Spokesperson Müslim Sarı announced that an investigation was initiated against Edirne Deputy Ahmet Baran Yazgan after images related to the incident were shared on social media. In his statement regarding the disciplinary process, Sarı said, "Within the framework of our party's fundamental principles, bylaws, and disciplinary provisions, Edirne Deputy Ahmet Baran Yazgan has been referred to disciplinary proceedings as of today with a request for 'definitive expulsion' on a precautionary basis."
"I SENT THE LOCATION OF THE HOUSE, WE SAT ON THE BALCONY"
Details of the incident, which is said to have occurred after a birthday celebration, and the statements of the parties have also been included in the judicial investigation file. Tuğba A., one of the parties involved, stated in her testimony at the police station that she works in real estate, met Ahmet Baran Yazgan 3-4 years ago, and they were in a relationship for about 6 months. Tuğba A., stating that she and Yazgan broke up normally, expressed that there was no animosity between them. Describing the day of the incident, Tuğba A. said that on the evening of August 12, she went to a restaurant with her daughter D.L. and friends B. and N. to celebrate a birthday, and around 11:00 PM, B.'s boyfriend Nuh D. also joined the group. Tuğba A., stating that they encountered Yazgan while leaving the restaurant, noted that Yazgan said he would come to their side later. A., stating that she sent her location to Yazgan after returning home, said that Yazgan came to the house and they sat together on the balcony.
"HE GRABBED MY WAIST AND TRIED TO KISS ME IN THE BATHROOM"
Tuğba A. described what happened after using the bathroom in her statement as follows: "While I was trying to give him a towel, he grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him. He tried to kiss me on the lips. As I tried to resist, he briefly kissed me on the lips. I immediately left the bathroom. I told my friends I was uncomfortable with Yazgan's behavior and went to the bedroom to put my daughter to sleep."
"HE SWORE AND BROKE GLASSES"
Tuğba A., stating that she returned to the kitchen after putting her daughter to sleep, said that Yazgan had been drinking alcohol. She then claimed that a dispute broke out between Yazgan and Nuh D., who was at the house. A., alleging that Yazgan severely insulted and cursed at Nuh D., claimed that the deputy broke the glass table in his hand and threw it towards D., also breaking several glasses. A., stating that she told Yazgan to leave her house as the argument escalated, also claimed that she was assaulted and insulted.

Tuğba A. stated that she started recording video with her mobile phone during the scuffle and argument. Emphasizing that her intention was not to share on social media, Tuğba A. said, "My aim was not to share the images on social media, but to protect my daughter and myself because he is a deputy."
