A 47-year-old woman stated that when she wanted to get car insurance, she was asked to approve a transaction from her credit card, and then 24,800 lira was withdrawn in 10 minutes, warning everyone with the words, "I am exposing myself so that you won't be scammed."

A 47-year-old woman shared her experience on social media, claiming she was scammed while trying to get insurance. "I am exposing myself so you won't get scammed. I congratulate the scammers; the idea was very clever. It's impossible not to get scammed..." said the woman, noting that a large amount of money was withdrawn from her account in a short time.

TRAPPED WHILE TRYING TO GET INSURANCE

The woman stated that she wanted to insure her vehicle and made a request on behalf of a well-known insurance company. She mentioned that she was told there was a campaign and that a transaction would be made within the scope of the campaign.

THEY DID NOT REQUEST A TRANSFER

Describing her experience, the woman said that no transfer was requested and that there was no single charge made from her credit card. Instead, she indicated that she was asked to approve certain transactions via her credit card, and after these approvals, money was withdrawn from her card.

The woman claimed that a total of 24,800 lira was withdrawn from her account in about 10 minutes. She shared that she spoke with the bank, and the bank told her that "there was nothing they could do."
