FIRE AT 12-STORY HOTEL CONSTRUCTION SITE
A fire broke out on the first floor of the 12-story hotel under construction in the Cikcilli neighborhood of Alanya, Antalya, around 4:30 PM. The first intervention to the fire, where workers were also present in the building, was made by the surrounding people. Fire crews were dispatched to the area upon notification.
4 WORKERS RESCUED
Initially, rescue efforts were made with cranes for the trapped workers. While the fire brigade continued their extinguishing efforts, Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik announced that the four trapped workers had been rescued.
