The sad news of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in Diyarbakır, came 19 days later. The lifeless body of the little girl was found in a sack in the nearby stream bed. Narin was laid to rest today.

In the investigation into Narin's death, 24 people were detained. Some new information came to light based on the statement of one of the detained suspects. The suspect, who is the uncle of Narin and also the village headman's neighbor, said, "Narin's uncle showed me the blanket and said 'You will destroy this'." The informant also said that Narin's uncle offered him 200 thousand liras for this job.

The suspect, who said that they put the body in a sack together with the headman, explained that the headman left him afterwards. The same person also said that he hid the body by the stream later on. The informant also mentioned that he participated in the search operations with the teams in the area after placing the body by the stream.
