In the incident that occurred yesterday in the cemetery located in the Yunusoğlu neighborhood of the district, while digging the ground for the burial of Nuri Kavas, who lost his life in a traffic accident, a broken ceramic pot and many coins were found. 1,100 SILVER COINS FOUNDUpon the notification of the neighborhood residents, gendarmerie teams arrived at the cemetery, secured the area, and reported the situation to the Museum Directorate. In the operation conducted under the supervision of Museum Directorate officials and the gendarmerie, 1,100 silver coins were identified at the burial site. While the coins were taken to the Museum Directorate, Kavas's burial process was carried out later.
