A striking development occurred in the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Astor Enerji partners Feridun Geçgel and Enver Geçgel made a payment of 5 billion TL to the voluntary return account of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund. Following the payment of billions of lira, the freezing order on the two individuals' assets was lifted.
A new development worth billions of liras has occurred in the fund investigation. After Astor Enerji partners Feridun Geçgel and Enver Geçgel paid 5 billion TL to the TMSF, the measure applied to their assets was lifted.
5 BILLION TL PAYMENT FROM ASTOR ENERJİ PARTNERS
An important step was taken within the scope of the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Feridun Geçgel and Enver Geçgel, partners of Astor Enerji Joint Stock Company named in the investigation, made a payment to the voluntary return account of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF). It was stated that the total amount deposited by the two individuals into the said account was 5 billion TL. The payment was made on a voluntary basis within the scope of the investigation.
THE MEASURE APPLIED TO THEIR ASSETS HAS BEEN LIFTED
Following the payment of billions of liras, a new decision was made regarding Feridun Geçgel and Enver Geçgel. The freezing measure on the assets of the two individuals was lifted. Thus, the measure applied to their assets within the scope of the fund investigation ended after the payment made to the TMSF's voluntary return account.
PAYMENT MADE TO TMSF'S VOLUNTARY RETURN ACCOUNT
The payment made by Feridun Geçgel and Enver Geçgel was transferred directly to the voluntary return account of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund.
