Fifty people were killed in an armed attack on a market in Niger State, Nigeria. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu instructed security forces to capture the armed gang members and urgently rescue all kidnapped victims.
In an attack by armed gang members on the Kasuwan-Daji Market in the Demo area of Niger State, Nigeria, 50 people lost their lives. A mass funeral ceremony was held for the deceased, while the injured were treated in nearby hospitals.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in a statement regarding the attack, emphasized that the armed gang members were testing the country's resolve and that they must face the consequences of their criminal actions, issuing an order for their capture. Tinubu instructed security forces to urgently rescue all kidnapped victims.
