The Venezuelan army also supported Rodriguez's assumption of the Interim Presidency in accordance with the TSJ's decision.

Delcy Rodriguez, 57, who comes from a leftist family and has held various positions in the country since the era of Hugo Chavez, has been serving as the Vice President of Venezuela since 2017.
