Under the coordination of the Directorate of Communications, access restrictions were imposed on 4 X accounts found to be conducting Israeli propaganda within the scope of operations carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the General Directorate of Security's Department of Combating Cyber Crimes. In the examinations, it was determined that the accounts in question were conducting black propaganda activities against Türkiye, and it was reported that efforts continue against digital disinformation activities targeting national security and public order.
A new step was taken against accounts spreading Israeli propaganda on the X platform. As a result of a joint effort by authorized institutions, an access ban was imposed on 4 X accounts.
3 INSTITUTIONS WORKED IN COORDINATION
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the General Directorate of Security's Cyber Crimes Department also participated in the studies carried out under the coordination of the Directorate of Communications. In the examinations conducted on activities on digital platforms, some accounts were put under scrutiny. As a result of the studies, it was determined that 4 X accounts were engaged in Israeli propaganda.
ACCESS BAN IMPOSED ON 4 X ACCOUNTS
In the examinations carried out by authorized institutions, it was determined that the accounts in question not only engaged in Israeli propaganda but also conducted black propaganda activities against Turkey. As a result of the studies, it was decided to impose an access ban on the 4 X accounts identified. Thus, a step was taken to block access to these accounts from Turkey.
