The "hanging toilet," which quickly went viral on social media and was also captured from the air by drone, caused citizens passing by to reach for their cell phones. While those passing through the demolition area could not hide their astonishment, the resulting scene also brought along humorous comments.

Hasan Aktaş, one of the neighborhood residents who expressed his astonishment at the sight he saw, noted that the situation could be a subtle joke by the excavator operator and said: "The building was demolished a few days ago. It keeps appearing before us on social media too; there are a lot of shares. Interesting comments are being made. I think this is our excavator operator friend's sense of humor. Otherwise, if he had wanted to, he demolished the huge building and could easily have removed that too. There are very interesting and funny comments. It attracts people's attention incredibly; everyone who sees it takes out their phone and takes photos and videos."
