After the heavy rains in Yozgat's Çekerek district, some roads were flooded. The closure of the road providing access to Lavanta Island and Cemaloğlu village caused difficult moments for local residents.

After the effective rains in Yozgat's Çekerek district, some roads were flooded, leading to the use of alternative routes for transportation.

The road providing access to Lavanta Island and the Cemaloğlu village in Çekerek district was submerged following the recent effective rains. The alternative road near Hamzalı village became unsuitable for use due to muddy conditions from improvement works.

VISITORS TO THE VILLAGE ARE LEFT IN AWE

Transportation to the village has begun to be provided by boat. With the start of the holiday, those coming for family visits to the village were astonished by the scene.

"I CAME TO VISIT MY FATHER FOR THE HOLIDAY, BUT THE ROAD WAS CLOSED"

Ahmet Şahan, who came to his village from Istanbul, was one of those experiencing transportation difficulties. Şahan, who came to Cemaloğlu village to spend the holiday with his family, reached his village by boat. Şahan stated, "We live in Cemaloğlu village. I came from Istanbul to visit my father for the holiday, but the road was closed. We don't know how to cross. The other side is also muddy. We are waiting for help from our state officials. We will try to cross by boat. We expect our state officials to build alternative roads," expressing his situation.

Village residents are demanding a solution to this situation after the effective rains.
