The names of 13 suspects detained within the scope of the investigation into allegations of interference with delegates' voting will during the 38th Ordinary Congress of the CHP have been announced. It was learned that among those detained are CHP Istanbul Provincial Vice President Melda Tanışman Tutan and Veli Ağbaba's driver, Gaffar Çiçek.
In the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a operation was carried out by the teams of the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Financial Crimes Branch.
OPERATION CARRIED OUT IN 7 PROVINCES It was stated that the suspects were assessed to have committed the crimes of "violation of the Political Parties Law", "bribery", and "laundering of property values derived from crime" within the scope of the investigation. As part of the operation, simultaneous raids were carried out at designated addresses in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Sanliurfa, Kahramanmaras, Kilis, and Malatya. Search and seizure procedures were conducted at the addresses.

Melda Tanışman Tutan VELİ AĞBABA'S DRIVER ALSO DETAINED It was learned that in the operation carried out towards dawn, CHP Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba's driver Gaffar Çiçek was also detained and his procedures at the police department were ongoing.
