In the approximately 7-hour meeting of the Republican People's Party Party Assembly, both amendments to the party charter were made and the applications of expelled members were evaluated. 7-HOUR CRITICAL MEETING

REGULATION CHANGE
Some changes were also made to the party regulations during the meeting. In line with the notifications from the Court of Cassation Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, amendments to align the CHP Regulation with the Political Parties Law were unanimously adopted.
AMNESTY FOR 32 PEOPLE
The Party Assembly evaluated the "pardon" requests of individuals previously expelled from the party for various reasons. As a result of the vote, it was decided to readmit 32 out of 33 applicants to party membership.
“WE ACCEPT GENERALLY”
CHP Spokesperson Zeynel Emre, in his statement on the matter, noted that the applications were evaluated in line with the opinions of provincial and district organizations, saying, "If local administrations also view it positively, we generally accept the pardon requests."
