The 180,000 TL fine imposed on drivers who get out of their vehicles to attack, with the aim of preventing violence and threats in traffic, will rise to 230,202 TL with the estimated 2027 revaluation rate.
Deterrent sanctions imposed to prevent disputes between drivers in traffic from reaching the level of physical intervention and threats are being strengthened. Heavy fines imposed on drivers who get out of their vehicles to attack will reach a record level in line with the revaluation rate calculated for 2027.
NEW PENALTY WILL BE 230,202 LIRA
If the revaluation rate calculated for 2027 is 27.89 percent, the current administrative fine of 180,000 liras imposed for this violation will rise to 230,202 liras.
With this calculation, based on the assumption that the October Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) increases by 2 percent, there will be an increase of 50,202 liras in the penalty imposed on drivers exhibiting aggressive behavior in traffic.
EXACT RATE WILL BE CLARIFIED WITH OCTOBER INFLATION
The projected fine amount of 230,202 liras is based on October inflation data and the assumption of a 27.89 percent revaluation rate. The figure will be finalized after the October D-PPI data announced by TurkStat. On the other hand, if a new regulation is made in the relevant legislation item, the final amount to be applied may vary.
