Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made striking remarks about Turkey at the 13th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Ankara. Praising the policies of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Tokayev said, "Turkey has become one of the most important countries in the world. It is a country with incredible international prestige."
The 13th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States began in Ankara, hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Speaking at the summit held under the theme "Turkic Century: Unity in Language, Thought, and Work," Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made assessments regarding Türkiye's international position and its development in recent years.
"TÜRKİYE'S SOCIOECONOMIC POTENTIAL HAS DEVELOPED"
Drawing attention to President Erdoğan's policies, Tokayev stated that Türkiye had made significant progress in economic and social fields.
Tokayev said, "Thanks to President Erdoğan's strong policies, the socioeconomic potential of brotherly Türkiye has developed significantly."
"HAS INCREDIBLE INTERNATIONAL PRESTIGE"
Also touching on Türkiye's position in world politics, the President of Kazakhstan emphasized the reputation the country has gained internationally.
Tokayev said, "In a period of more than 100 years, Türkiye has become one of the world's most important countries; a country with incredible international prestige."
