Manager Ayşe Barım, who was detained on the grounds that she directed artists to participate in the protests during the Gezi Park events, was found to have intense communication with defendants such as Osman Kavala and was accused of being one of the planners of the events. She was arrested on charges of "aiding and abetting an attempt to overthrow the government of the Republic of Turkey or to prevent it from performing its duties."
