U.S. President Donald Trump used striking expressions while responding to a question about Syria. Claiming that he was the one who brought Syrian President Ahmed Shara to his position, Trump stated, "Essentially, the Syrian President I brought there is doing an extraordinary job. He is a tough guy, not a nice boy, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to achieve this." Continuing with statements that carry a clear message to the YPG, Trump said, "Shara has treated the Kurds very well so far."

"THE SYRIAN PRESIDENT I BROUGHT THERE IS DOING AN EXTRAORDINARY JOB"
Trump praised Syrian President Ahmed Shara, thanking him for stabilizing the war-torn country. However, Trump also claimed that he was the one who brought Shara to his position. The US President stated, "All I can say is that the Syrian President (Ahmed Shara) I brought there is doing an extraordinary job. He is a tough guy, not a nice kid, otherwise he wouldn't be able to achieve this."
HE HAS A MESSAGE FOR YPG: SHARA HAS BEEN VERY GOOD TO THE KURDS SO FAR
On the other hand, Trump, who ended cooperation with YPG/SDF in the fight against ISIS in Syria, continued his remarks with statements that carried an open message to the terrorist organization. Donald Trump said, "Syria is coming together, really coming together, and Shara has been very good to the Kurds so far."
HE HAD TURNED THE FOCUS TO DAMASCUS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST ISIS
On Wednesday, January 21, during a press briefing at the White House marking the first year of his second presidential term, US President Donald Trump stated that they had provided sufficient support to the Kurds in Syria.
Referring to the terrorist organization YPG/SDF, Trump said, "I love the Kurds, but you need to understand this; a huge amount of money was paid to the Kurds, oil and other things were given. So they did this not for us, but more for themselves, but we get along well with the Kurds and we try to protect them."
Additionally, Trump expressed his trust in Syrian President Ahmed Shara, whom he described as "working very hard," in the fight against ISIS, stating, "He is a strong and tough guy. I spoke with him yesterday, we talked about the situation in the prisons. There are some of the worst terrorists in the world in those prisons. Shara is following this process."
CEASEFIRE AND INTEGRATION IN SYRIA
According to the ceasefire and integration agreement that came into effect on February 2 between the Syrian government and the terrorist organization YPG, all administrative and military structures under the organization's occupation, border gates, and oil fields were transferred to the Syrian government.
