On the other hand, a US official speaking to CBS News and another source familiar with the matter shared detailed information about where the 6 American soldiers lost their lives during the attacks on Iran.
Sources speaking on the condition of anonymity stated that all 6 American soldiers were killed in Kuwait as a result of Iran's retaliatory attack.
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as well as many high-ranking officials, were killed. Iranian Health Ministry Spokesman Hossein Kermanpur announced that 926 people had lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
