U.S. President Donald Trump made harsh remarks about climate activist Greta Thunberg, with whom he has been at odds since 2019. Trump referred to Greta as "a troublemaker, has anger issues, and should see a doctor."
US President Donald Trump made striking statements about climate activist Greta Thunberg, who was expelled by Israel for being part of the Sumud Fleet delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza.
"I THINK SHE SHOULD SEE A DOCTOR"
Trump referred to the 22-year-old Thunberg as "She's just a nuisance. Doesn't she care about the environment anymore? She has an anger management problem; I think she should see a doctor. If you've seen her, she's too angry for a young person."
SHE WAS EXPELLED
In the raid by Israel on the Global Sumud Fleet carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, 171 activists were detained and recently expelled to Greece and Slovakia. Among those expelled was Greta Thunberg.
THEIR ISSUE DATES BACK
President Trump's harsh criticisms of Thunberg are not new. Last June, Trump referred to the young activist as "a strange, young, angry person" and harshly criticized Thunberg for her attempt to reach Israel on the British-flagged Madleen ship, which was stopped by Israeli forces.
"SHE SHOULD WATCH A MOVIE AND RELAX"
In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Trump mockingly addressed Thunberg: "So ridiculous. Greta should solve her anger management problem, then go to an old-fashioned cinema with a friend! She should watch a movie and relax. Calm down, Greta, calm down."
Thunberg, in the past, ironically responded to Trump's remarks by describing herself in her profile as "a young activist with an anger management problem."
