“NOT ELECTIONS, BUT SECURITY AND UNITY SHOULD BE THE PRIORITY”
Speaking at a press conference at his party's headquarters, Destici drew attention to the war environment around Turkey, saying, "We believe that Turkey currently needs unity, solidarity, and cohesion due to the war environment around us, rather than a snap election." Destici emphasized that instead of election debates, the focus should be on national security and social unity.

Criticizing CHP's snap election demand, Destici claimed that this move aimed to remove investigations into municipalities from the agenda. Destici said, "They want to change the agenda by plunging Turkey into an election atmosphere, but I don't think they will succeed in this."

Highlighting the goal of a "terror-free Turkey," Destici stated that lasting peace can only be achieved through concrete and irreversible steps. He expressed that processes conducted under the shadow of weapons cannot produce permanent solutions.
REACTION TO WATER BILLS
Commenting on water bills in Ankara, Destici criticized the rate increases, saying, "If inflation is 30%, water should be increased by at most that much. This cannot be arbitrary."
