The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "We condemn an Israeli minister's verbal and physical violence against participants of the Global Sumud Fleet, which was unlawfully intercepted by Israel in international waters."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a written statement regarding the violence inflicted by Israel's far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir on the detained participants of the Global Sumud Fleet.
“WE CONDEMN”
The statement indicated that all efforts are being made, in coordination with other relevant countries, for the immediate and safe release of the detained Turkish citizens and other fleet participants.
Emphasizing that efforts are being pursued with determination to achieve results as soon as possible, the statement included the following remarks: "We condemn the verbal and physical violence by an Israeli minister against the participants of the Global Sumud Fleet, which was unlawfully intercepted by Israel in international waters. This minister, one of the main perpetrators of the genocide carried out by Israel in Gaza, has once again openly demonstrated to the world the violent and barbaric mentality of the Netanyahu government."
