Tekirdağ Commercial Court of First Instance granted a temporary 3-month concordat period for Kale Otobüs Seyahat and its affiliated companies. A three-member supervisory board was appointed to monitor the process. The court also gave creditors the right to object within 7 days from the announcement of the decision. During this period, it may be requested to reject the petition on the grounds that the conditions for concordat have not been met.
Tekirdağ Commercial Court of First Instance has decided to grant a 3-month provisional concordat period for Kale Otobüs Seyahat and its affiliated companies.
Within the scope of the court's decision, in addition to Kale Seyahat, companies including Cemal Alirıza Çelebi, Bayraktar Saray Petrolcülük, Çelebiler Turizm Otomotiv, Grandtur Turizm, and Kale Express Seyahat have also been included in the provisional concordat process.
COMMISSIONER BOARD APPOINTED
To evaluate whether the concordat process will be successful, considering the number of creditors and the amount of debt, Özkan Yılmaz, Koray Çevik, and Aylin Karakaş have been appointed as concordat commissioners.
7-DAY OBJECTION PERIOD FOR CREDITORS
The court also issued an important warning to creditors. In accordance with Article 288 of the Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, it was stated that after the publication of the provisional moratorium decision in the Trade Registry Gazette and the Press Advertising Institution, creditors can apply to the court within 7 days to object to the concordat request.
It was stated that during this process, creditors can request the rejection of the request by presenting evidence that the conditions requiring the granting of concordat do not exist.
