Flash Haber TV, one of the established brands of Turkish television, has joined Safe Media following the TMSF trusteeship process. Safe Media Board Chairman Seyfi Şahin announced that the channel will be restructured with a new logo and an entertainment-focused broadcasting approach. It was stated that Flash TV will also be actively present on digital platforms in its new era.
The restructuring process at Flash TV has begun. Safe Media, known for its work in the cinema industry and the producer of the film "Çatlı," has announced that it has stepped into the television sector by acquiring Flash TV.
With the new management, significant changes will also be made to the channel's broadcasting line. Flash TV is planned to be positioned primarily as an entertainment-focused national television channel.
ITS LOGO AND BROADCASTING APPROACH ARE CHANGING
As part of the restructuring, Flash TV's logo has also been renewed. In the channel's new broadcasting period, a wide range of content will be featured, from original entertainment programs to competitions, and from music to culture and arts.
Cinema films, TV series, and productions for different age groups will also be important parts of the new broadcast schedule.
"IT WILL BE A CHANNEL THAT FAMILIES CAN WATCH WITH TRUST"
Safe Media Chairman of the Board Seyfi Şahin drew attention to Flash TV having a significant brand history in Turkish television broadcasting.
Şahin stated that in the new period, they aim to position Flash TV as a national entertainment channel that families can watch with confidence.
Stating that the channel's technical and broadcasting infrastructure will also be strengthened, Şahin noted that they will not focus only on traditional television broadcasting but will also be active on digital platforms.
TMSF HAD PUT IT UP FOR SALE
The ownership structure of Flash Haber TV has changed many times recently. The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) had put the channel up for sale with an estimated value of 84 million lira.
Ankara-based Öz Er-Ka İnşaat owner Eşref Keleş won the organized tender. Keleş had previously come to the fore with the 2 billion 474 million lira housing tender in Hatay and real estate investments.
THE ERHAN KORK PERIOD HAD BEEN SHORT
Flash TV was purchased on January 9, 2025, by Erhan Kork, the owner of Bankpozitif and Payfix Payment Institution. After the transfer, Ersoy Dede's name came up for the channel's broadcast management.
After Erhan Kork was later arrested on charges against him, TMSF appointed a trustee to the channel and the sale process began.
With the latest transfer, Flash TV has once again undergone a management change, and the channel is expected to take its place on television screens this time with its new entertainment-focused concept.
