Türkiye's Ambassador to Algeria, Mücahit Küçükyılmaz, recited the adhan at the invitation of the mosque imam during his visit to Boussemghoun village, the birthplace of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The visit, notable for its historical and spiritual significance, was evaluated alongside the village's role in anti-colonial resistance and its cultural importance.

Turkey's Ambassador to Algeria, Mücahit Küçükyılmaz, visited Boussemghoun, the village where President Abdelmadjid Tebboune was born and raised. During the visit, which took place at a historically and culturally significant location, Ambassador Küçükyılmaz recited the call to prayer at the village mosque.

HE DID NOT TURN DOWN THE IMAM'S INVITATION

Stating that he received an invitation from the mosque's imam during the visit, Küçükyılmaz said he did not decline the call. The Ambassador shared the moment with the words, "We recited the afternoon call to prayer in Boussemghoun, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's village, at the imam's invitation."

Emphasizing that the visit was meaningful both diplomatically and spiritually, Küçükyılmaz gathered and chatted with the local community.

Küçükyılmaz noted that Boussemghoun is not just a settlement but also holds an important place in Algeria's historical memory, stating that the village, remarkable for its unique architecture, preserved natural structure, and traditional fabric, offers visitors an atmosphere carrying traces of the past.

Recalling that Boussemghoun is one of the important centers of the Tijaniyya order, Küçükyılmaz emphasized that the village also served as a headquarters for mujahideen, playing a critical role in anti-colonial resistance.

Stating that the village is an important symbol not only religiously but also politically and culturally, Küçükyılmaz expressed that the visit was valuable for witnessing this historical heritage firsthand.
