Türkiye's National Public Broadcaster TRT To Launch New Spanish-Language Digital News Platform

TRT says it continues efforts to amplify Türkiye's voice globally.

TRT, the national public broadcaster of Türkiye, on Friday will introduce its Spanish-language digital news platform as part of the First TRT Spanish-Speaking Countries Broadcast Summit.

The institution, which transcends borders with its global coverage, is adding a new international digital news platform, according to a statement from TRT.

TRT said it is continuing its efforts to amplify Türkiye's voice globally.

It is hosting the first TRT Spanish-Speaking Countries Broadcast Summit on Thursday at the Hilton Bosphorus Istanbul.

TRT Spanish-language digital news platform will be launched at the summit.

The summit will be attended by 17 general managers, 21 journalists, and 16 executives from media institutions in 18 Spanish-speaking countries, including Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, Guatemala, Ecuador, and Bolivia. Additionally, 40 Latin American and Spanish students studying in Türkiye will participate.

The summit will also include a workshop on International Journalism.

TRT is already producing content in several languages, including English, German, Russian and French.
