The Associated Press (AP) news agency reported that an airstrike by a military fighter jet in Myanmar's Sagaing region killed 14 people and injured 20 at a Buddhist monastery.
According to AP's report, citing an opposition group, a Buddhist monastery in Sagaing was attacked by a Myanmar military fighter jet.
Accordingly, it was recorded that 14 people, including 3 women, lost their lives in the attack according to preliminary assessments, and 20 people were injured.

A local citizen who spoke to AP stated that 2 attacks were carried out on the area where the monastery is located, 15 minutes apart.
