KEPT POLICE WAITING FOR HALF AN HOUR
The incident occurred in the Kemalpaşa neighborhood of İnegöl on Mimar Sinan Boulevard during the night. After police stopped a cargo motorcycle and suspected its driver, Hüseyin İ., might be under the influence, traffic units were dispatched to the scene.
Traffic police tried for about half an hour to persuade the driver to blow into the breathalyzer. However, Hüseyin İ. refused despite all warnings.
HAD BEEN CAUGHT THREE TIMES BEFORE
An investigation revealed that the driver had previously been processed three times for drunk driving.
The driver was fined a total of 192,800 TL, comprising 150,000 TL for refusing the breathalyzer, 40,000 TL for driving without a license, and 2,800 TL for driving an unregistered vehicle.
VEHICLE TOWED TO PARKING LOT
After the procedures were completed, the cargo motorcycle was taken to a parking lot by a tow truck.
