In the CEV Champions League final, VakıfBank defeated Eczacıbaşı Dynavit 3-1 to become undefeated champions. Giovanni Guidetti's students reached a happy ending for the 7th time.

The CEV Champions League final featured a Turkish showdown. The match between VakıfBank and Eczacıbaşı Dynavit took place at the Ülker Sports and Event Hall.

VakıfBank won the first set 25-20. Guidetti's team, without slowing down, also dominated the second set 25-21. Eczacıbaşı took the third set 25-21. Playing more effectively in the fourth set, VakıfBank ended the match with a 25-18 set, winning 3-1 and becoming champion. Eczacıbaşı Dynavit finished the tournament in second place. The yellow-black team, which won all 10 matches it played in Europe this season, achieved its 7th CEV Champions League victory undefeated.

Giovanni Guidetti holds the title of the head coach with the most championships in the FIVB World Club Championship and CEV Champions League. Guidetti's signature is also on 11 of the 13 international cups achieved by the yellow-black team.

TURKISH WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL WON ITS 27TH CUP

Turkey won its 27th international cup at the club level in women's volleyball. Turkish teams have won 27 cups in total: 9 in the CEV Champions League, 8 in the World Club Championship, 6 in the CEV Cup, and 4 in the CEV Challenge Cup.

9TH CUP FOR TURKISH TEAMS IN THE CEV CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Turkish teams experienced championship for the 9th time in the Women's CEV Champions League. The first Champions League cup won by VakıfBank in the 2011 season was followed by 7 more entries into Turkish teams' trophy cabinets. In this process, VakıfBank became the Turkish team with the most championships, taking the cup 7 times. Fenerbahçe and Eczacıbaşı each won the championship in this organization once. VakıfBank celebrated lifting the cup in 2011, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2022, 2023, and 2026, Fenerbahçe in 2012, and Eczacıbaşı in 2015.
