A 58-year-old man staying at a guesthouse in Alanya district of Antalya was found dead in his room. Vecdi Şimşek, found motionless in the room after not being heard from for a long time, was determined to have lost his life, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
FOUND MOTIONLESS
The incident occurred at a guesthouse operating in the Cikcilli neighborhood of Alanya. According to the information obtained, Vecdi Şimşek (58), who was staying at the guesthouse, did not leave his room for a long time. Suspecting the situation, guesthouse staff entered the room with a spare key and found Şimşek lying motionless on the floor.
TEAMS MOBILIZED
Upon the report of guesthouse employees, police and medical teams were quickly dispatched to the area. In the initial checks by health workers arriving at the scene, it was determined that Şimşek had died.
Police teams conducted inspections inside the room and throughout the guesthouse to determine whether the death was suspicious.
BODY TAKEN TO MORGUE
After the prosecutor's office and police investigations, Vecdi Şimşek's lifeless body was taken to the Alanya Municipality morgue to determine the exact cause of death. The investigation into the incident continues.
