In Uludağ, referred to as the 'White Paradise' by holidaymakers, the snowfall that started on Saturday night continued throughout the day yesterday.
SNOW DEPTH REACHED 18 CENTIMETERS
Today, with intermittent snowfall continuing in some areas, the ground was covered with a white blanket, and the snow depth reached 18 centimeters.
NO SNOWFALL EXPECTED THROUGHOUT THE WEEK
In Uludağ, where the temperature was measured at a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 2 degrees, no snowfall is expected throughout the week.
NO PERMISSION FOR VEHICLES WITHOUT WINTER TIRES
While hotels are expected to open the season in mid-December, inspections on the Uludağ road have increased due to the snowfall. Gendarmerie teams did not allow vehicles without winter tires to ascend to Uludağ from the National Park Gates. Drivers are also required to keep chains in their vehicle trunks.
