SECOND RAILWAY VEHICLE EXPORT TO TANZANIA IN A YEAR

Türkiye had previously exported DE10000-type mainline locomotives to Tanzania. Together with the new freight wagons, it is preparing to carry out the second railway vehicle export to the same country within a year.

Minister Uraloğlu, in a post on his social media account, used the following statements in his statement regarding the export:

“We are preparing to export 100 freight wagons, to be produced by TÜRASAŞ with domestic and national means, to Tanzania. We continue to carry TÜRASAŞ's production capability to international markets with new exports.”

The new project will carry Türkiye's capacity in railway vehicle production to foreign markets while also ensuring that production in Sivas is evaluated for export.
