Fenerbahçe will move to bring back former star Ferdi Kadıoğlu, whom they sold to Brighton for 30 million euros in 2024, if they eliminate Lyon and qualify for the Champions League league phase.
In the first leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off round, Fenerbahce drew 1-1 with Lyon at home. If the Yellow-Navy side eliminates their opponent in the rematch to be played in France, they will earn the right to compete in the Champions League league phase.
While preparing for the rematch, Fenerbahce is also continuing their transfer efforts. Having recently added Romelu Lukaku to their squad, the Yellow-Navy side continues their contacts for other positions as well.
MOVE TO BE MADE FOR FERDI KADIOGLU

HE HAD LEFT FOR 30 MILLION EUROS
Ferdi Kadioglu, who transferred to Fenerbahce in 2018, made a total of 204 appearances in the Yellow-Navy shirt. The national player contributed 18 goals and 22 assists in these matches. Ferdi transferred to Premier League side Brighton in 2024 for a transfer fee of 30 million euros.
